Gray Zucchini, a member of the summer squash family, is renowned for its smooth, pale green skin and tender flesh. This versatile vegetable is a popular choice in gardens due to its prolific yield and ease of growth. The plant produces elongated fruit that is typically harvested when it reaches 6 to 8 inches in length for the best flavor and texture.

Planting and Care

  • Transplanting: Transplant starts in early morning or late evening. Gently remove them from their tray - try to avoided damaging the roots as they are more prone to damage than other plants.
  • Watering: Maintain consistent moisture in the soil, ensuring it remains damp but not waterlogged.
  • Fertilization: Apply a balanced fertilizer every few weeks to support healthy growth and fruit production.
  • Harvesting: Harvest Zucchini when fruits are young and tender, usually around 50 to 60 days after planting.

Plant starts go quickly, so be sure to get your pick up orders in as soon as you can!
